These last two weeks have been filled with lots of dollmaking and working with students. It's great fun to have company in my studio.
Raino and I attended the American Craft Council Show in St. Paul. That's the picture at the top. It was fun to see the professionalism there. We tried to study the lighting and booth set up to see which ones were the most exciting.
My fellow doll artist, Lucia Friedericy, did the Baltimore show. Maybe she will come here next year!
The second picture is of my student Lavona who won an award for her watercolor painting at a local art show! How exciting is that? She also entered an art doll in a show that will open tonight. Will wait and see how that one goes!
I will take pictures of my latest doll sometime today and maybe remember to post it!!

I love the photo of Eloisa in her party hat with the cake and tea pot, just darling, - so cute I tried to click on it to get a closer look, but just html came up. Give a closer look, Sarah...please.
